Required Gear: Full hockey equipment is required for all players, including neck guard and full face covering.
Rental Options: We have a loaner locker available with some gear to use. Please reach out in advance.
Additional Items: Bring a water bottle, towel, and any other personal items for after the game.

Queer Hockey Hamilton (QHH) is proud to offer a summer ball hockey program, providing a fun and inclusive environment for our 2SLGBTQIA+ community and allies. We play at the Confederation Park outdoor rink on Friday evenings, welcoming all skill levels, ages (18+), gender identities, and sexual orientations. Fans and supporters are encouraged to join us on game nights and cheer for all players!

QHH ball hockey is open to everyone! We believe there’s a place on our bench for anyone interested, whether you’re a seasoned player or brand new to the game.
Equipment and Loaner Gear
New to hockey? We offer a loaner locker with essential gear, allowing you to try hockey before investing in your own equipment.

This program is open to all, regardless of experience. We welcome beginners looking to build foundational skills and experienced players wanting to sharpen their game. Each session will be geared towards specific abilities.
Skating Development – Improve edge work, speed, balance, and transitions.
Puck Handling – Master stickhandling, passing, and shooting techniques.
Game Awareness – Learn positioning, strategy, and teamwork.
Sessions are run as one-offs and days/times will vary for each session as well as the location.
These will always be stated on the registration.
$25 per player, per session.
Registration is required in advance.
Full hockey gear is required, including helmet with a cage, gloves, shin pads, elbow pads, and skates.
